| Popis: | A 61-year-old Hispanic man with no psychiatric history presented with an acute onset of personality changes, including aggression and hypersexuality, which progressed to hallucinations and fluctuations in mental status, and was diagnosed with anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis. This report emphasises the importance of having anti-NDMA receptor encephalitis on the list of differential diagnoses in acute, unprovoked personality changes in older adults. |
