Popis:	The research problem of the article are main directions in Russian economic development. As a result, the key factors of hindering the economic growth were determined. By the example of Russian companies that produce equipment for dairy industry the problems of functioning in the industry were shown. Recommendations that could bring the machine-tool manufacture up to a new level of development were made based on results of the investigation.
