Popis:	A broad absorption spectrum with λ max ⩾ 2000 nm has been observed in pulse-irradiated liquid propane at low temperatures, and assigned to the solvated electron. The electron decays by geminate recombination with an initial half-life of ⩽ 95 nsec at −185°C.
