Popis: | Glucocorticoid-remediable aldosteronism (GRA) is an autosomal dominant disorder in which the increase in aldosterone secretion produced by Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) is no longer transient. Here we present a case of a 32-year-old man with GRA who was found to have an intracranial aneurysm following screening. His blood pressure had been well controlled and closely monitored since diagnosis and the institution of treatment at age 13 years. This is a rarely reported example of this manifestation in GRA, and both the treatment and rationale for therapy are discussed below. |
