Popis: | Ovarian cancer (OC) is the leading cause of gynecological cancer death, and most cases are diagnosed at advanced stages due to a nonspecific and insidious clinical presentation. Radiologists play a critical role in the decision of which patients are candidates for primary debulking surgery and who may benefit from neoadjuvant chemotherapy. This pictorial review summarizes the dissemination patterns of OC, main imaging findings of metastatic disease, and which findings may alter the treatment plan or predict suboptimal tumor resection. |
