| Popis: | Between the 10th and 13th January 2020, annual winter census of wintering water birds was conducted in the Silesia region. 142 participants took part in the project. They recorded more than 266 thousand birds from 56 species. The most numerous wintering species were the Mallard (more than 116 thousand birds), the Bean Goose (nearly 90 thousand), the Cormorant (over 10 thousand), the Coot (over 8 thousand) and the Caspian Gull (over 7 thousand). |
