Popis: | Both radical and conservative approaches to management of the thyroid nodule fail to take into account its extremely variable nature. These lesions can be differentiated to some extent by scanography, as illustrated here. Once a nodule is removed, however, subsequent therapy must be dictated by microscopic findings. |
