The development of diabetes mellitus in rats is characterized by an increase in the synthetic and secretory activity of the vasopressin- and corticoliberin-synthesizing neurons of the PLM and MP of subnuclei of the PVN. 2. A decrease in the power of the spectrum of the BEA and the presence of degenerating neurons in the VL of the VMN were demonstrated; the presence of degenerating neurons suggest a decrease of the MFAN of this strucmre, which is one of the mechanisms of compensation of the initial stages of diabetes mellitus. |
