Popis: | The small size of the intra-oral bone grafts can increase the handling problems during the handling of the graft before final securing to the recipient site. A technique is described whereby the risk element during this phase of the procedure can be reduced. By securing the bone graft to the handle of an artery forceps using a length of ligature, the graft can be handled safely. It can also be held in the desired final position during preparation of the screw hole. The ligature is released only after the graft has been secured by engagement of the retaining screws. |
