Cimetidine and duodenal ulcer: A study of initial and low dosage maintenance treatment in Ireland

Popis:	In a 3-centre study, 128 patients with endoscopically proven duodenal ulcers were treated with cimetidine 1g daily. One hundred and nineteen patients completed 4 weeks’ treatment: 91 of these had healed ulcers and 28 were unhealed. A further 18 patients were healed at 8 weeks and 3 more healed at 12 weeks.
