Popis: | Time resolved laser spectroscopy (TRS) of station-ary biological tissues is a rapidly developingmethod for biomedical tomography and diagnos-tics. With the time gating technique it is possible tofilter away the photons traveling over a relativelylong time in strongly randomized trajectories andto detect only the early arriving photons whosepaths just slightly decline from an average trajec-tory, connecting the point of incidence of laser lightwith the point of detection. It has been reported in anumber of publications that with TRS of early ar-riving photons, a spatial resolution of optical inho-mogeneities 100 mm in size is possible. |
