The urbanization process causes irregular occupation in urban areas, it is necessary the effectiveness of territorial planning in the great capitals of the country. Undoubtedly, it is essential not only emergency measures, but effective measures in irregular areas and inadequate to housing, as they are increasingly inhabited. An example of urban expansion to the city of Manaus, and its majority of the forms of occupation, classified by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics / IBGE as subnormal agglomerated, are located in valley bottom regions and near the river banks that drain a network Area of approximately 1,017 channels. In this context, 40 neighborhoods of the 63 registered ones with more than 100,000 inhabitants in this city are inserted. They constitute agglomerates of people who live under the IBGE, in conditions that are not suitable for housing, and bring together excluded populations, lacking infrastructure for health services, security, transportation, education and urban planning. In order to carry out this study, we selected the Redemption District located in the sub-basin of the Giant. The purpose of performing a geospatial analysis on the subnormal agglomerated of the Redenção neighborhood is firstly to identify and then classify the number of sectors of the subnormal agglomerated. Subsequently, it was found that in the State of Amazonas, which are n = 122 subnormal agglomerated, shows the city of Manaus as the largest recipient of n = 51 subnormal agglomerates, Iranduba n = 10, Parintins n = 7 and Tefé n = 7. In the Redencao neighborhood, 48 census tracts were identified, with 4 subnormal agglomerated, totaling 914 households. |
