Popis: | A pair of identical twins living together and with a long-standing history of anorexia nervosa were admitted to restore weight. In the course of their admission one of them was found to be suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis and the other developed tuberculosis after 1 year. We seek to highlight factors that can lead to a delay in case detection and discuss issues relating to the immune mechanisms in tuberculosis and anorexia nervosa. © 1994 by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. |
