Popis: | Skip segment Hirschprung’s disease (SSHD) is an uncommon variant of Hirschprung’s disease where normal intestine is interspersed proximally and distally by abnormal, aganglionated intestine. These segmental changes have no well-defined embryological explanation. We present a case of SSHD in the small bowel and concomitant perforated Meckel’s diverticulum, with review of the literature relevant to SSHD. |
