The focus of this research is to examine the effect of the MFT program and prior knowledge on dribbling ability. The research method in this study used a 2 x 2 factorial design. The subjects of this study were soccer extracurricular students at SMK Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik with a population of 40 students and using the Random Sampling technique. The instruments used to obtain the data are: written test and measurement test. The data analysis technique in this study used a two-way analysis of variance technique. The aims of this study are : 1) to find out whether there is a difference between the MFT program and the Balke program on the ability to dribble, 2) to find out whether there is a difference between high prior knowledge and low prior knowledge on the ability to dribble, and 3) to find out whether there is an interaction between the MFT program and the Balke program as well as prior knowledge of the ability to dribble. Based on the results of the analysis using two-way Anova, the following results were obtained. 1) There is no difference in dribbling ability between the MFT program and those using the Balke program for soccer extracurricular students at SMK Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik with the results (α 0.289 > 0.050). 2) There is a difference in the dribbling ability of students who have high initial knowledge with the initial knowledge of soccer extracurricular students at SMK Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik with results (α 0.000 < 0.050). 3) There is no significant interactionbetween the MFT program and the Balke program as well as prior knowledge of the dribbling ability of the soccer extracurricular students of SMK Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik with (α 0.960 > 0.050). |
