Popis: This thesis is on the topic of time-resolved numerical transport simulations of microscopic one-dimensional correlated systems out of equilibrium. The key new results include: The investigation of minimal models of molecular diodes. Investigation of an extension of the used simulation method, which is based on td-DMRG, to driven systems. The proposal of Energetic Damping to create steady states in time-dependent simulations of correlated finite systems with small energy scales.
