Popis: | The therapeutic efficacy of a liposomal preparation of amphotericin B was evaluated in two murine models of cutaneous leishmaniasis. No significant decrease in tissue parasite density was observed in C57BL/6 mice after systemic treatment instituted seven days after footpad inoculation with Leishmania tropica; in contrast, BALB/c mice showed a modest response. |
