Popis: | Three yeast cytochrome c 's purified from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Kloeckera sp. and Candida krusei were compared. Their absorption spectra were almost the same, but their affinities for an Amberlite CG-50 column decreased in the order: Saccharomyces cytochrome c > Kloeckera cytochrome c > Candida cytochrome c . They showed the same reactivity with Pseudomonas cytochrome oxidase, whereas their reactivity with cow cytochrome a decreased in the order: Saccharomyces cytochrome c ⪖ Candida cytochrome c > Kloeckera cytochrome c . The latter order was observed in their electrophoretic mobilities also. Sacchaomyces and Candida cytochromes c 's were not precipitated from dilute solution by saturated ammonium sulphate solution whereas Kloeckera cytochrome c was appreciably precipitated. |
