Popis: | An incubation experiment was conducted to understand the response of the soil enzyme activity at a manure microsite to green manure (GM) application added with a phosphate fertilizer. Stylosanthes green manure (GM) (10 or 40 t/ha) with or without MCP (monocalcium phosphate containing 100 kg/ha P2O5) was placed on the surfaces of soil cylinders that were incubated for 14 and 28 days. Results indicated that GM significantly increased enzyme (urease, acid phosphatase, invertase, and catalase) activities at the manure microsite. MCP addition exerted a negative effect on most of the enzyme activities, and the effect was dependent on the GM rate and incubation period. Our findings confirmed that soil enzyme activities, after the different incubation periods with or without MCP addition, which will benefit GM rational application as soil enzymes are generally considered to be soil quality indicators. |
