El presente artículo constituye un aporte tendiente a precisar y enriquecer el marco teórico conceptual del turismo como disciplina académica, aún en construcción. El mismo se fundamenta en un diálogo generado desde la formación geográfica y turística de las autoras, a fin de reflexionar acerca del uso de algunos términos – expuestos principalmente desde la Geografía por diversos autores - y aplicados en la disciplina del Turismo para el estudio de los procesos de construcción de territorios turísticos. El artículo se realiza a partir de la revisión de bibliografía específica y con base en trabajos previos de investigación académica de las autoras. En este contexto, se propone como objetivo general analizar la relación entre los procesos de patrimonialización y valorización turística realizada por actores sociales de un territorio turístico a diferentes escalas, ello desde tres aproximaciones teórico conceptuales. Esta reflexión se construye con los aportes de las Ciencias Geográficas y en particular, desde la Nueva Geografía Cultural pero filtrada y enriquecida con las características propias del Turismo como disciplina académica. This paper contributes to clarify and enrich the theoretical and conceptual framework of Tourism as an academic discipline, still under construction. It is based on a dialogue generated from geographical and tourism academic profile of the authors, in order to reflect on the use of certain terms - exposed mainly from Geography by various authors - and employed in the discipline of Tourism for the study of the processes of construction of tourism territories. The methodology used was based on the review of specific literature and on previous academic research of the authors. In this context, the aim of this paper is to analyse the relationship between the processes of patrimonial and tourist development by social actors in a tourism territory at different scales, from three conceptual theoretical approaches. This reflection is built with the contributions of Geographical Sciences and in particular from the New Cultural Geography but filtered and enriched with the characteristics of Tourism as an academic discipline. |
