Popis:	SummaryPostnatal changes in the cardiac ventricles of 75 piglets are reported. The RV/T ratio reclines from a mean of 0.382 to 0.253 by 7 days of age. Concomitant with this decline the LV + S/T and the LV/RV ratios increased. Although such changes occur after birth more rapidly in the pig than in man, the magnitude of change in the swine cardiac ventricles appears to be quite similar to that reported for man.
