Popis: | Levofloxacin is a third generation fluorinated quinolone ntibiotic with a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity. It s generally well tolerated, with a very low rate of clinially important neurological adverse events. Fluoroquinolonessociated neurotoxicity may manifest as seizures, delirium or ncephalopathy. Here we describe the first case of levofloxacinnduced NCSE in a woman without history of neurological iseases. |
