Popis:	Transverse pattern dynamics in the output of a laser are studied by detailed numerical solutions of the full set of Maxwell-Bloch equations. The effects of different parameters on the behavior of the solutions are investigated. Our numerical results reveal a rich variety of behaviors in the pattern evolution, phase vortex formation and spatiotemporal dynamics in the output of a laser beam.
