| Popis: | We read with great interest the paper on ‘A report of Hb Fontainebleau [α21 (B2) Ala > Pro] as a result of founder effect Phenomenon’ that appeared in a recent issue of the journal with great interest by Jalalia et al. However, although they discussed extensively the data on the very rare hemoglobin variant Fontainebleau (a 21(B2) Ala-Pro), they did not mention the existence of this variant in Turkish population. |
