| Popis: | We describe the diagnosis of an adult who presented with hematochezia. This was investigated and found to be from a bleeding Meckel's diverticulum. As this condition is rare in adults, there is no consensus regarding the optimal mode of management. We propose the use of angioembolisation in the diagnostic and therapeutic management of this condition. Our case showed that this strategy is indeed feasible and can achieve good short-term control, allowing for definitive surgery in an elective setting. |
