| Popis: | 25 females with gestational trophoblastic tumours were treated with several courses of methotrexate and folinic acid. A consistent fall in platelet count followed by a ‘rebound’ thrombocytosis occurred during the first 2 courses but this was not seen during subsequent courses. A possible explanation of this phenomenon is discussed. |
