Popis: The occupational therapist is qualified to implement a variety of critical services for dementia patients who have deficits in functional abilities. Methods for adapting and applying traditional occupational therapy practices to the treatment of dementia patients are offered. Three specific areas of intervention: activities, environment, and communication, are presented in detail through description and example.
