| Popis: | Lid loading with gold weights inserted into a submuscular pocket in the upper eyelid is a useful, simple, and effective method for the treatment of lagophthalmos in patients with temporary or permanent facial nerve palsy. The incidence of complications in our series was high. The reason for this are discussed, and methods of reducing the rate of complications are suggested. |
