Popis: The features of synthesis of supports for reforming catalysts are reported. A thermodynamic calculation of formation of boehmite and hydrargyllite was performed. Parametric equations were obtained for synthesis of aluminum hydroxides and oxides. The correlation of the specific surface area of aluminum hydroxide with the pH of an aqueous solution of the hydroxide was demonstrated. The results of theoretical studies of synthesis of modifications of aluminum hydroxide were confirmed experimentally.
