Popis: | The present study investigated relationships between cancer patients' satisfaction with social support, and their affect and levels of hope. Cancer patients completed measures describing their hope and affect, and a structured interview was conducted to ascertain their level of satisfaction with the support they were receiving. Results indicated that support satisfaction accounted for a statistically significant proportion of the variance in patient hope and affect, although other variables emerged as more powerful predictors. |
