Popis: | Nonosseous uptake of bone imaging agents is well known. The authors describe a case of soft tissue uptake by a Schwannoma of sciatic nerve origin that mimicked femoral metastatis, detected on magnetic resonance imaging. This case also illustrates the importance of taking lateral views in solitary lesions of long bones. These additional images, which were not taken, would likely have shown that the soft tissue Tc-99m MDP uptake was separate from the bone |
