Popis:	SUMMARY The physical characteristics of a Varian Clinac 18/10, 10 MeV X-ray beam are presented in terms of central axis depth dose, surface dose, buil-up dose, tissue maximum ratios and attenuation measurements in lead, brass, water and lipowitz metal. Where appropriate the results for our accelerator are compared with data published in the literature. There is enough variation between our data and previously published work to demonstrate the importance of individual measurements on every accelerator.
