You will find the published article here: https://doi.org/10.18261/issn.2535-6003-2020-03-02. This article presents findings across five research studies (most of them qualitative interview studies) on decision processes for climate adaptation conducted within Klima 2050 – an interdisciplinary Centre for Research-based Innovation (SFI) on risk reduction through climate adaptation of buildings and infrastructure. The aim of this synthesis is to illuminate the importance of capacity building through networks for decision processes for climate adaptation. The findings are related to the fields of climate services and environmental psychology. Klima 2050 has documented and categorized more than 80 webpages and user guides for climate adaptation. Despite the needs for decision support and capacity building, many of these webpages and user guides are reported not to be in use. Learning and cooperation in (multi-level) networks is essential for spreading knowledge on climate adaptation. Networks between and within organizations must be developed and carried out strategically and systematically to obtain better climate adaptation. |
