| Popis: | A case is presented of a child with signs of recurrent acute thyroid infection which was found to result from rupture of an infected branchial cleft cyst abscess. This association has not previously been reported. A review of the bacterial etiol ogies of suppurative thyroiditis in childhood is presented. |
