The purpose of this research is to find out how GOR H. Agus Salim Padang City handles sports management. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used to collect information. There were three people involved in this research, namely the Head of the Disdikpora of Padang City, the Head of the Infrastructure Section, and the GOR employee H. Agus Salim. Persistence, credibility, dependability, transferability, and confirmability were used to determine the validity of the data. Data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing are all used in the data analysis approach. The findings show that the planning of GOR H. Agus Salim is in line with its vision and objectives, namely to improve and build the infrastructure of GOR H. Agus Salim so that it is more executive and managed effectively. The framework of the working relationship between the head of infrastructure, staff and personnel is essentially identical to that of sports management. The placement and orientation of employees are almost the same as the norms of sports management, namely responding to the circumstances and environment of GOR H Agus Salim. The designed directive is a model of free control that is implemented by fostering effective communication between employees through a personal approach. Once a month, a meeting with the assessment plan and work report is held to carry out control. |
