Este volumen presenta el Archivo Virtual de Artes Escénicas (AVAE), a la par que constituye un estudio teórico-crítico sobre este proyecto internacional liderado y gestionado desde la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Cuenca, desde su creación, en 2003. El AVAE está centrado en la escena de vanguardia que incluye entre su campo de trabajo no solo el teatro y la danza contemporáneos, sino también acciones, instalaciones, vídeos o performances, junto con el pertinente material teórico. Cuenta con un equipo de investigadores presente en distintas universidades españolas y latinoamericanas. El objetivo del Archivo es poner a disposición de estudiantes, docentes y profesionales material crítico y documental sobre creadores escénicos contemporáneos iberoamericanos, así como sobre sus contextos de producción, exhibición y crítica. Se trata, en fin, de una propuesta documental ligada a un propósito historiográfico definido. El concepto de "artes escénicas" que se maneja es amplio, en cuanto abarca todo aquello que ocurre en tiempo real y en presencia de espectadores incluyendo, por tanto, propuestas híbridas, acciones, instalaciones, vídeo-acciones, etc. // This volume presents the Virtual Archive of Performing Arts (AVAE), at the same time it constitutes a theoretical-critical study on this international project led and managed by the School of Fine Arts of Cuenca, since its creation, in 2003. The AVAE is focused in the avant-garde scene that includes among its field of work not only the contemporary theater and dance, but also actions, installations, videos or performances, together with the pertinent theoretical material. It has a team of researchers present in different Spanish and Latin American universities. The aim of the Archive is to provide students, teachers and professionals with critical and documentary material about Ibero-American contemporary stage creators, as well as about their contexts of production, exhibition and criticism. It is, finally, a documentary proposal linked to a defined historiographical purpose. The concept of "performing arts" that is handled is broad, in that it covers everything that happens in real time and in the presence of spectators including, therefore, hybrid proposals, actions, installations, video-actions, etc. |
