Popis: The initial diagnostic impression in a patient with a "hot orbit" may evolve as more laboratory and radiographic information becomes available. We present a patient in whom nearly the entire differential diagnosis of painful orbitopathy was considered before the correct diagnosis was made, after the patient had improved and all paraclinical data, including magnetic resonance imaging, were available.
