Popis: | Ultimate characteristics of the cascade solar cell based on a homogeneous semiconductor with tunneling transitions between the individual elements are researched. The advantage of the use of such structures is the reduction of internal losses, which is especially important when converting concentrated radiation. Ultimate theoretical and physical characteristics of the photocurrent, open circuit voltage and efficiency are found depending on the concentration of radiation and the number of individual elements in the cascade. |
