SLIDE: Genitalia on slide n° 21 (Box Diptera Rondani 3): Ceroxys pomariana Lectotypus des. Soós, n. 1604. CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Ceroxys fraudulosa (Loew, 1864) (Soós 1984c: 53). REMARKS: Rondani (1869a: 22) described Ceroxys pomariana, without specifying the number, the sex or the length of the specimens, from material he had collected and also received from F.M. Piccioli. Soós (1983: 259) designated a lectotype (♂) and paralectotypes (1 ♂, 2 ♀♀).
