An unedited correspondence dated 1886 between Pietro Doderlein and Ettore Arrigoni degli Oddi. The authors report an unedited ornithological correspondence between Pietro Doderlein and Ettore Arrigoni degli Oddi, consisting of two letters dated 1886 kept in the Archivio di Stato of Padua. The interest of the correspondence consists above all in the fact that between the two ornithologists there was an age difference of 58 years. The letters show that the seventy-seven-year old Doderlein maintained a great enthusiasm in the ornithological research. |
