| Popis: | Since 1976 we have changed our policy on patients with intussusception admitted to Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin, Dublin. Where possible, hydrostatic reduction with barium enema is used as the initial means of treatment. Since this change in policy, 70% of our patients had attempted hydrostatic reductions, of which 51% were successful. There were no late recurrences or deaths in our series. |
