Popis:	A new cycloheptapeptide, cordyheptapeptide A (1), was isolated from the insect pathogenic fungus Cordyceps sp. BCC 1788 along with four known bioxanthracenes (2-5). The structure was elucidated by spectroscopic data. The absolute configuration of amino acid residues was determined by HPLC and X-ray diffraction analyses.
