Popis: | Percutaneous adrenal venography was performed via the Seldinger technique on normal dogs and on those with ACTH-induced adrenal hyperplasia. The glands were studied for pathological changes at intervals following catheterization including some glands purposely extravasated. No significant pathological changes were found. To our knowledge, this procedure in dogs has not been previously reported and may prove to be a useful experimental tool. |
