Popis: | The long-awaited fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders ( DSM-5 ) is about to be published. The changes in the criteria for diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder are of particular interest to psychiatric nurses. This article describes the changes and the new criteria. Implications for patients and nurses, both positive and negative, are also discussed. |
