Popis:	Multimodality of the world tourism development stimulates rather asynchronous dynamics of transnationalization in the regions worldwide. It has also contributed to the formation of rather complex system in global production of tourism services. The aim of the article is to study the peculiarities of transnationalization processes in various countries of the world during different historical periods. The main research method was empirical, with the help to analyze the generations of transnational corporations. It was concluded that the current stage in transnationalization of tourism business demonstrates that the leading role already belongs to the tour operators which are financially most stable.
