Popis: | This commentary discusses a study that investigates the association between depression and adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) for HIV positive patients in Uganda. It does however address methodological issues from the study that are important to the translation of the results such as: a lack of cultural adaption of the Becks depression inventory (BDI) the accurate diagnosis of depression and the misclassification of ART patients. |
