Popis: Burgy is a siphovirus that was isolated from compost soil near Fremont Township, Iowa, using Microbacterium foliorum NRRL B-24224. The genome has a length of 17,453 bp and contains 25 total protein-coding genes, 20 of which were assigned functions. Based on gene content, Burgy was assigned to actinobacteriophage cluster EE.
