Popis: | On the background of 47 patients of a neurosurgical clinic suffering from meningioma it can be stated that cerebral scintiphotography with Radiopertechnetate is a method to detect meningiomas with high effectiveness. As to the differentiation of the diagnosis referring to the tumour group, according to the histological structure this method reaches the results of angiographic examination. Meningiomas of the convexity are detected in 100 percent, the classification is possible in 88–90 percent. Reliable diagnosis can also be made of meningiomas of the falx, the sphenoid bone and the olfactory area. |
