Popis: The main objective of this article is to understand the teaching-learning process and the interaction between professors and students in a Business Administration course of a large private higher education institution. The research followed a qualitative and descriptive approach. The present research identified several aspects of the teacher-student interaction in the teaching-learning process: the role of discussion in the construction of learning, the planning of the discipline and the interaction of learning inside and outside the classroom, the participation of professors and students in the virtual learning environment using the Moodle tool, and the assessment of student performance. The results show that even following the programmatic content, and in response to the requirements of the institution and the Political Pedagogical Project, professors generally have a good relationship with the classes and were flexible with the demands of the students. In all the observations, it was verified that the professors tried to promote a dynamic and stimulating environment for the students.
