There is no one simple reason for this occurrence, but rather a complex interaction of biological, structural, and socioeconomic factors. This article will highlight reasons why the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has been particularly impactful among minority populations throughout the world and will also offer potential solutions to help overcome health disparities. |
